He's very happy that he has a nice, but he wonders how she is. He pours his heart out to Efruz. Efruz tells him that if he had told her sister about what had happened none of this would have happened. When Melih accuses Efruz of not knowing what it is to loose the people you love, Efruz tells him his story: Efruz lost his family years before he found Melih. Efruz was working as a police inspector investigating a fraud case. His superiors told him to let go of the case, but Efruz refused. Then he found out that his superiors were involved with the fraud case. They threatened him at first and then his family. Despite his wife's begging, he did not let go of the case. One day, when coming home, he found his wife and their four-year-old son dead on the floor. He tells Melih that is why he has been warning him and that he sees Melih as his son. Zeynep cannot figure out why Melih is so interested in Elif. Then she remembers Melih coming to the hospital with Kenan to donate blood, when Melek was operated on. She thinks Kenan is behind all this and is devastated to think that Kenan might learn the truth about Elif from Melih. She and Selim meet at school. Both are very happy. Melih visits Melek and her desperation hurts him. He tells Melek that he might help her if she just told him where his daughter is, but Melek doesn't want him to. He tries to find Rıza again and this time he does. He gets Mahmut the Black's name and address from Rıza. During a drug delivery he sees Mahmut the Black getting into his vehicle and realizes it's Arzu's. Elif and Tuğçe look after Selim, but they cannot get Burcu out of their minds. Although Elif tries to stop her, Tuğçe trashes the room and makes a racket to bring back Burcu. Selim calls Burcu, but she tells him she's got another job. The girls are very sad to hear this. Zeynep is sad because of Burcu's departure, too. They decide to find someone else. As Selim and Zeynep are on the phone, Arzu overhears that there is only two days to Melek's trial. Zeynep visits Melek and tells her that Melih is Kenan's friend and that she's told her about Elif. Melek says that Kenan's just heard of her imprisonment and that she's certain it wasn't Melih who told Kenan. They are both very confused. Melek tells Saadet that her attorney has said that that her case is hopeless because of the lack of evidence. She is devastated. Şeyda overhears Erkut talking about the accident. When Erkut tells her the story, she flips. Şeyda tells him she doesn't want to see him ever again. She buys two tickets to İzmir, one of them is for Murat. Murat cannot resist her anymore and accepts.
