Brands Hatch - Crash and Action - BARC Weekend - April 2026

I must say I think I set my expectations a little too high for this meeting... Don't get me wrong, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself, but I just felt that the racing was a little bit dry. To me it felt as though everyone was playing follow the leader; I didn't see much overtaking going on all weekend which is a real shame, everyone just seemed to spread out and stick to themselves. Mind you, credit where credit is due, the Pickup Trucks were fantastic; there might have only been 14 of them but that's all we needed for a real show! These events are always rammed full of people (and why wouldn't it be with the opportunity to watch 20 Trucks tear round a 1.2 mile circuit) which just makes filming really difficult, and on top of that I'd be lying if I said I was a good 'people person' so it is definitely a bit overwhelming for me. I'm hoping for better this weekend, where I will be back again for the BRSCC event.
