"24 Hours of Appalachia" (often abbreviated as #24HOA) is an annual off-road endurance rally organized by Back Roads of Appalachia (BoA), held in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Participants navigate challenging terrains in their vehicles, including motorcycles, SxS/UTVs, and full-size 4x4s, to complete a long-distance course. The event is a significant fundraiser for various causes, including the West Virginia Children's Hospital, the Children's Home Society of West Virginia, and other community support programs. It is also a major event for promoting adventure tourism and the growth of OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) development in the Appalachian region. . .
