Cocoplums
In this video, we explore Cocoplums. This salt and sand tolerant evergreen shrub is featured repeatedly in South Florida landscaping. It's also native to the region, so we're proud to feature lots of cocoplums at Arden. You may even have a few in your own yard. If so, you're in luck! The often overlooked fruit is surprisingly sweet and delicious. We hope this video inspires you to give them a try! Heads up: Wild harvested cocoplums may carry pesticide and fungicide residues. Just like any fruit or veggie, Cocoplums should be washed before consuming.
