The Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels | Teaching on Angels, Their Choirs & Missions (2 October)

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels (October 2nd), a beautiful reminder of God’s providence and the powerful spiritual companions He assigns to each of us. In this talk, we reflect on the reality of angels, their intellect and will, and how they assist us daily in both visible and invisible ways. From the nine choirs of angels — Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels — to the personal guardian angels assigned to every soul, we see how heaven is intricately involved in creation and human life. 📌 Key themes covered in this teaching: Why every person has a personal guardian angel (baptized or not). The angels’ role in worship, creation, and providence. How angels guard nations, cities, families, and individuals. The difference between the angelic choirs and their unique missions. How angels assist us at Mass, in prayer, and even in daily struggles. The reality of fallen angels and the role of the Powers in combating them. Stories of angels working in history, nature, and personal lives.
