Explaining Loss of a Loved One to My Minimally verbal son
It’s always hard navigating these delicate subjects. Death is hard for anybody to accept or understand, but particularly when there is a language barrier. I know that Kaidale understands so much more than he is able to verbalize. With that being said, we’ve had a lot of luck using social stories to help us through situations like this.
