During World War II, the powerful German battleship Bismarck leaves port with the aim of attacking British convoys in the Atlantic. The British Royal Navy considers the ship a mortal threat and immediately launches a vast operation to locate and destroy it. In London, Captain Jonathan Shepard coordinates the hunt from the Admiralty operations center, tracking every movement of the enemy fleet. After the Bismarck sinks the British cruiser Hood, the mission becomes a matter of national honor. Ships, aircraft, and intelligence services are mobilized in a race against time to prevent the German battleship from reaching a safe harbor. The final battle in the Atlantic will decide the fate of the ship and hundreds of sailors.
