Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark was never a typical martial arts master focused only on self-defense. She was an artist first. After establishing her career in Wushu, her artistry reached new heights as she returned to her first love, the Chinese opera, fulfilling an unrealized childhood dream. From this passion, she created Wushu Theatre, merging the techniques of Wushu with the expressive traditions of opera, complete with music, costume, character, and storytelling on stage.
