Goselin. The investigation indicates that the arson and shooting of the pilot are strongly suspected to be carried out by the Bakusip Armed Criminal Group (KKB). This suspicion is supported by the circulation of several photos and videos of the perpetrators at the scene. This is a new group led by M. Mbalingga and has repeatedly issued threats against civil aviation activities in Papua. Investigators stated that the motive for the attack is still being investigated. The body of the AMA pilot, Captain Nicholas F. Goselin, underwent a post-mortem examination at Bhayangkara Hospital in Jayapura. The post-mortem results indicated that the pilot died from a gunshot wound to the head. The Head of the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Papua Regional Police, Dr. Rommy Sebastian, explained that the post-mortem examination was conducted to help scientifically explain the cause of death, thus clarifying the criminal case. The post-mortem examination revealed a gunshot wound to the head, which caused a fracture at the base of the skull, which was the primary cause of death.
