HWSETA to provide veterinarian bursaries
South Africa has a shortage of veterinary professionals. The global norm is to have between 200 and 400 vets per million of the population. South Africa has between 60 and 70. To close this gap the Health and Welfare SETA has launched the Veterinary Career Guidance Awareness Programme. It will provide 60 Veterinary Science and Veterinary Nursing bursaries.
