Roads in Tasmania (123) Jan24 - Exploring Evandale - Historical Buildings & Shops- An Old Friend
We spend some time checking out Evandale. What a fabulous town this is, and so close the Launceston! It is famous for 2 things- the annual penny farthing races held every February and the weekly markets on a Saturday. It is a town that reflects how happy people are to live here. It is full of homes and gardens that could be on the cover of a magazine. It truly is gorgeous to behold. Plus, they are very good at restoring and maintaining the historical buildings in town as well as displaying the historical significance of each. It’s really worth walking around to take it all in. We bump into, unexpectedly, an old friend from our home town and what a joy it is to see her smile once more. She now calls Tasmania home. We hope we have been able show you a brief glimpse of the things we love about Evandale. So karmonajourney through Evandale, while the streets are quiet- it certainly hots up on the weekends.
