La France passe de 0 à la moitié du marché du gros cargo que Boeing tenait seul

France has gone from zero to half the large cargo market, a market previously dominated by Boeing. For 50 years, every large cargo aircraft on the planet was American: the 747F, 777F, and 767F reigned supreme in air freight, this most profitable corner of the skies that no one seems to notice. But the 2027 ICAO CO2 emissions standard spells the end for older cargo planes, and for the first time, this market is opening up. With the A350F, its 111-ton payload, 4,700 nm range, and Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, Airbus started from scratch and has already captured more than half the orders—over 100 compared to 68 for the Boeing 777-8F—while arriving nearly a year ahead of its rival, which was grounded due to its certification issues. A partial victory, but a real turning point: Boeing's last stronghold is crumbling, and France is the one opening it. Music: Eyes of Glory - Aakash Gandhi, Duty Calls - Rod Kim.
