Márcio Ferreira da Silva - Estudos sobre Parentesco

Professor and researcher Márcio Ferreira da Silva has been a professor at the University of São Paulo since 1998. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences, a member of the Scientific Council of the Center for Amerindian Studies, and a collaborating professor in the Department of Anthropology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona since 2006. His research areas include South American Ethnology, Kinship Studies, and Computational Methods. His research lines are: Amerindian, African, and Afro-diasporic studies.
