Walmir Cardoso - Astronomia Indígena
Walmir Cardoso holds a Bachelor's and Licentiate degree in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo PUC-SP (1986), a specialization in History of Science from the State University of Campinas UNICAMP (1992), a Master's degree in History of Science from PUC-SP (2000), and a doctorate in Mathematics Education from PUC-SP (2007). He is a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Program in History of Science and Technology and Epistemology (HCTE-UFRJ), a researcher in the Group of History, Theory and Teaching of Science (GHTC-USP), and the Laboratory of Studies and Research in Cultural Astronomy (LEPAC-UFRJ). He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Inter-American Society of Astronomy in Culture (SIAC) - 2017-2021.
