This high-altitude paradise in Tyrol is not only one of the most snow-sure but also one of the most expensive ski destinations in the Alps. But what makes it so special? Ski Price Index 2024/25 – How the Study Data Was Collected For the study, all ski resorts in Europe with more than 20 kilometers of ski slopes were considered. The median prices for vacation rentals per person per night were extracted from the internal database for the price analysis. The travel periods from December 22, 2024 to December 29, 2024 (peak season) and from March 23, 2025 to March 30, 2025 (off-peak season) were included. Prices for day ski passes were taken from the official websites of the ski resorts. If seasonal prices for 2024/2025 were not available, prices for 2023/2024 were used as a reference. The average daily price per person was calculated from the median nightly accommodation price and the average ski pass price. If ski resorts had the same average daily price, the resort with the greater number of kilometers of slopes was given preference.
