This song is an uplifting song that focuses on answered prayer, specifically the one Abraham's servant, traditionally known as Eliezer. He needed God's guidance, and God made it very clear the prayer was answered right at the moment Eliezer prayed. We know it doesn't always turn out that way, though, does it? Sometimes God waits to answer our prayers for days, weeks, and yes, even years. Those are often very long years of waiting. It's hard to rememeber God knows best. But I encourage all of us that if God doesn't say yes immediately, or is clearly saying, "wait," that we will still trust Him and obey His word!
