第2回 おみたま花火大会 ハイライト – 湖面に映る美しいリフレクション – OMITAMA FIREWORKS DISPLAY 2025 (Panasonic S5 ＋ BRAW)

On October 4, 2025, I filmed and watched the 2nd Omita­ma Fireworks Display held along the shores of Lake Kasumigaura in Omitama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. With an easterly wind forecast, the main venue was expected to face headwinds. To capture the lake’s stunning reflections, I chose a vantage point about 2 km away on the opposite shore. The one-hour show featured about 8,000 fireworks, and this highlight video includes the most spectacular scenes — the Countdown Fireworks, Opening Display, Selected 10-Inch Shells (15 shots), and the Finale. The fireworks were produced by Yamazaki Fireworks, a renowned pyrotechnic company based in Ibaraki. Their powerful launches and exquisitely designed shells illuminated both the night sky and the mirrored lake surface in vivid colors. Although light rain fell several times during the show, the fireworks themselves were truly magnificent. The calm, mirror-like reflections across Lake Kasumigaura created a breathtaking and dreamlike spectacle.
