Nab Lighthouse (1954)
Off Cowes, Isle of Wight. Various shots of the Trinity House relief ship 'Beacon' leaving Cowes and heading out towards the Nab Light (lighthouse that looks like gas works). Supplies are loaded from the ship onto a launch. Four men are also taken on the launch as the relief crew for the lighthouse. The launch comes alongside the light tower. Supplies and kit bags are handed to the crew there. The new crew climb out onto the landing stage and shake hands with the old crew who get into the launch and head back towards the 'Beacon'. Notes and cutting on file. FILM ID:1353.23 FOR LICENSING ENQUIRIES VISIT http://www.britishpathe.com/
