Dolina Glinščice (it. Val Rosandra) is a nature reserve near Trieste, renowned for its karst canyon, steep cliffs, and rich history. Its central symbol is Supet Falls, at 38 meters high, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in this part of the Karst. Supet Falls: the highest waterfall in the valley, cascading over a steep wall and most spectacular after heavy rain. Visitor Center: located in the village of Boljunec (Bagnoli della Rosandra), where information about trails and the reserve’s nature is available on the official website of the Dolina Glinščice Nature Reserve. Historical paths: the valley is traversed by a former railway line (now a popular cycling and hiking path Giordano Cottur) and the remains of a Roman aqueduct.
