Join me on a wonderful spring trip to the heart of the Julian Alps! I visited the Martuljek Waterfalls, just as nature was in its full spring bloom and the streams were bursting with fresh mountain water. 🌿 Our journey begins in the village of Gozd Martuljek, from where the path leads us through the picturesque Martuljek Gorge. I captured some truly stunning footage along the Martuljek stream before reaching the mighty Lower Martuljek Waterfall. 🌊 But the real adventure was just beginning! I continued towards the Upper Waterfall, where the trail becomes a bit more demanding. I descended a cable-secured path to the small bridge crossing the roaring stream right below the falls. For the grand finale, I climbed a light protected climbing route (via ferrata) directly to the base of the Upper Martuljek Waterfall – the feeling of the water spray and the sheer power of nature there is indescribable! 🧗‍♂️✨ I wrapped up the trip in the best possible way – with a visit to the popular Ingo's mountain hut (Brunarica pri Ingotu).
