VAJONT, la diga e i luoghi del disastro da vedere assolutamente: vi spieghiamo come trovarli
Exploring the disaster sites in search of ancient relics still present in the Vajont Valley is an extremely interesting activity for any enthusiast. Most people, after visiting the dam's crown, think they've seen it all, but for those curious and well-informed about the complexity of the catastrophe that occurred in those mountains in 1963, there are still many things to see near the ill-fated dam built by SADE. Starting with the Vajont Gorge, a wild place we've discussed in other reports. In this video, we explain how to safely explore the riverbed and how to reach the dam, examining in detail all the various difficulties you may encounter along the way. In the second part of the video, we'll discuss the interesting places to see around the dam and the lake, with helpful directions for reaching the best vantage points for great photos. We'll also explore the old road to Erto, all the way to the new Terenton bridge, a recent construction with a long history that we'll be happy to share with you. For those wishing to learn more about the history of the Vajont Dam and the disaster, we recommend our two-part documentary, produced on the 60th anniversary of the tragedy, which provides extensive historical and technical information on the subject: [Great Vajont - Part 1] • Vajont 60 anni dopo il disastro - Esploria...
