With an astounding pH of 1.2-2.2, we were surprised by the rich ingredients, so intense they tingled our skin! The water was so strong that there was a local rule limiting bathing time to three minutes. But it was a great value spot, offering private baths for around 1,000 yen. Bath towels are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own! 🍜 Recommended Food & Night Markets in Beitou and Shipai Before enjoying the hot springs, enjoy some local cuisine in front of Beitou Station, and after your bath, head to Shipai Night Market, just one station away! We'll share a day filled with local street food, including Taiwanese-style yakitori (grilled chicken) with an appetizing charcoal aroma.
