Agasirwe, Ssemujju committed to High Court over Joan Kagezi murder

The Chief Magistrate at Nakawa has referred Senior Superintendent of Police Nixon Agasirwe Karuhanga and Abdul Noor Ssemujju, also known as Minaana, to the High Court for trial, following the prosecution’s confirmation that investigations against them are complete. The charges relate to the murder of former Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Joan Kagezi on March 30, 2015. She was shot and killed at a vegetable kiosk in Kiwatule, a suburb of Kampala, while on her way home.
