Gibson ES 150 Charlie Christian 1938 - You Go To My Head
Hi YouTubers, I'm back with my beloved prewar ES 150. Best archtop for me. I've just got a new amp: Polytone baby Brute from the early 90s. It's a great amp except for the reveb which is pointless. I've added a reveb pedal to it (Mad Professor, Spring Reveb) and here is the sound. I like very much the definition of each note and the punch given to each of them. Recording chain: amp - Shure SM57 - Digital Audio Workstation (Sonar X). Guuitar is equipped with Thomastik-Infeld flatwound strings (Swing 13-53). I'm am using a thick pick from JC Dugain (standug/horn).
