I liked the boy who carried water in a sieve the most. His mother said that carrying water in a sieve was the same as stealing the wind and running away with it to show his brothers. His mother said it was the same as picking thorns out of water. The same as raising fish in your pocket. The boy was obsessed with absurdities. He wanted to build the foundations of a house on dewdrops. His mother noticed that the boy liked emptiness more than fullness. He said that empty spaces are bigger and even infinite. Over time, that boy who was brooding and strange, because he liked to carry water in a sieve. Over time, he discovered that writing would be the same as carrying water in a sieve. In writing, the boy saw that he was capable of being a novice, a monk, or a beggar all at once. The boy learned to use words. He saw that he could play tricks with words. And he began to play tricks. He was able to change the afternoon by putting rain in it. The boy performed prodigies. He even made a stone bloom. His mother watched the boy with tenderness. His mother said: My son, you will be a poet! You'll be carrying water in a sieve your whole life. You'll fill the voids with your antics, and some people will love you for your follies!
