This Is Unacceptable.
A few weeks ago we were very excited to acquire a new band saw for the shop, but we quickly found out it had a few problems... We've been trying to fix these problems behind the scenes for a while now and here are the results. As much as we love the saw (when it works), we have come to the unfortunate conclusion that this kind of performance and customer service is unacceptable. Our original video on this saw had a lot of very positive things to say. However when you drop $4k on a brand new machine, you expect it to work as advertised. That was not the case with the Ellis 1600 band saw. Yes this may not directly be Ellis's fault, but it should be their responsibility to sell machines that work. Let's see how Ellis decides to respond to this video... we don't like hating on tool manufacturers but... c'mon guys. Thanks for watching!
