Temuan Emas 74 Kg dan Uang Rp476 M Jadi Sorotan, Polisi Lanjutkan Penyelidikan

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Special Crimes Director Febrie Adriansyah has spoken out about his alleged involvement as the owner of a luxury home in the Sentul area, following a search conducted by the National Police's Corruption Eradication Commission (Kortastipidkor) team. During the search of the house, police found and confiscated photos of the Special Crimes Director's family. The Special Crimes Director Febrie Adriansyah admitted that the luxury home in Sentul is his long-standing private residence. In addition to confiscating family photos belonging to the Special Crimes Director, police also seized a sum of money in rupiah and foreign currency, as well as tens of kilograms of gold stored in a safe. The National Police's Corruption Eradication Commission (Kortastipidkor) stated that the total value of the evidence seized from the house reached Rp 476 billion. The evidence found and confiscated by police from the safe included 74 kilograms of gold bars, US$4,767,300, Singapore dollars worth SGD14,083,800, and Rp100 million in cash. Regarding the discovery of tens of kilograms of gold and cash worth hundreds of billions of rupiah, Febrie, Head of the Special Crimes Unit (Jampidsus), stated that all the money and gold had owners. However, Febrie did not explicitly identify the owners. The Head of the Indonesian National Police's Special Crimes Unit (Kakortastipidkor), Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, emphasized that they were still investigating the photos and owners of the money and gold found at several search locations, namely a luxury home in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, and a cafe in South Jakarta, including whether the photos belonged to the owners of the luxury homes. ISESS Police observer, Bambang Rukminto, believes the police must be transparent and reveal the owners of the money and gold seized from several locations suspected of being linked to three major corruption cases. Bambang urged the public not to perceive these searches and seizures of valuable evidence as mere tit-for-tat between law enforcement agencies.
