KOMPAS TV The handling of three alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) cases implicating the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, continues to be in the public spotlight. The National Police have named two suspects: former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah and a private party with the initials DR. Investigators have also seized evidence in the form of cash worth Rp 476 billion and 74 kilograms of gold bullion during a series of searches at several locations. The case files have now been submitted to the Attorney General's Office. Acting Deputy Attorney General Rudi Margono stated that his office will first study the files on the three cases before questioning Febrie Adriansyah. Nurokhman, Commissioner of the Indonesian Prosecutorial Commission, believes that the decision to detain him is within the authority of investigators and must be carried out in accordance with applicable procedural law.
