Crabbing Puget Sound 2024 crab pot vs crab pot
This week on Stabicraft on the Sound: Crabbing Puget Sound 2024 crab pot vs crab pot. In my first trip out filming again in three years I decided test out weighted pots against unweighted. I used my crab pots from the local Wal-Mart ($22.00 in July 2021, now $27.50 in 2024) to see if there was really any difference. One had 10 pounds, the other none. And to really see the difference, I sent each pot down with a camera. I dropped them during the incoming tide, and at the end of the video I included the footage from each pot, but sped it up as fast as I could. Chapters: 00:00 Intro 01:15 Setting up the weight and crab cam. 04:51 Unweighted pot going in. 05:24 Fishing to kill time. 09:19 First views from Crab Cam. 11:41 Pot pulling the weighted pot. 14:25 Time lapse of weighted pot. 21:02 Pot pulling the empty pot. 22:26 Time lapse of unweighted pot. 25:34 Outro
