Ok Class, It’s Time for a Geometry Quiz

Minor edit - at 13.35 when I'm talking about the slow spinny loops to the forehand, another option other than twiddling and chopping, moving and chopping with backhand, or counter looping, is a sort of lobby/fishy type of shot that you often see very good modern defenders go for (you yourself actually successfully execute it at 35.04 and some other points). I’d refer to it as something like a power lob. It’s a deep pushy motion generally with topspin variations. Something like that is much more stable than trying to chop down that type of ball with the inverted rubber on the forehand, and you definitely have the feeling for it!
