This VHS was released in 1990 and then again as a restored version in 2000. This is a long video. There is a lot of nostalgia for the VHS release but also the transmission of this story both in the UK and US, In fact, we spend a lot of time looking at the unique ways PBS ran Doctor Who and how hard it was to get episodic copies of the story. Though being a long video, the hope is that it was worth the journey. I own every iteration of Doctor Who on PAL VHS released by BBC Video. I recently put my collection back on the shelf and decided to make some videos about each release. These videos are a semi-factual but highly nostalgic look at these stories coming out on VHS plus my journey with the stories as a collector of all things video. I celebrate the different versions, different formats and restoration. I may get some of the facts wrong but just send a note to the e-mail below or in the comments.
