The VHS boxset for the Ice Warriors is a great example of it. Never before had such a large project had been released on VHS showcasing the different types of restoration, reconstruction and documentary making all to celebrate the Missing Episodes of Doctor Who. Amongst the many things we focus on, we devote a lot of time to the Telesnaps. We show the restoration of some telesnaps imagery to show what can be done to them and also bring on a special guest to tell us how the large haul of telesnaps were discovered at the BBC Written Archives in 1993…… Special thanks to Nick Seidler & Rob Warnock for use of their music track (The Word is) Zero which appears in this video. I own every iteration of Doctor Who on PAL VHS released by BBC Video. I recently put my collection back on the shelf and decided to make some videos about each release. These videos are a semi-factual but highly nostalgic look at these stories coming out on VHS plus my journey with the stories as a collector of all things video. I celebrate the different versions, different formats and restoration. I may get some of the facts wrong but just send a note to the e-mail below or in the comments. Also, share your personal experiences with these stories in the comments below. All of us who collected Doctor Who on VHS, probably has some great memories and stories. Please share them! Please share this video and feel free to leave me feedback, positive or constructive. e-mail: [email protected] Twitter is @fromthearchive Podcast: Subscribe to us on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/f...
