Tiger Kingdom is a popular tourist attraction in Chiang Mai, Thailand. If you’ve been following along, you’d know I’ve been traveling across Asia and sharing some of my favourite places. They have generally been fun, positive videos showcasing popular tourist spots as well as some places less traveled. I’ve done a lot of research online to help plan my days in Thailand, and I’ve discovered just how huge animal tourism is here. When I saw a bunch of tour sites featuring Tiger Kingdom, I just scrolled passed them – never reading more than the description of the place. The concept sounded terrible. But, after the place kept coming up by fellow tourists I looked into it more. Overwhelmingly, many people online feel that the tigers are sedated here. I went to see for myself and put this video together.
