Using Christopher Alexander’s Approach to Systems Design For Simple At Scale Solutions
There are three problems at scale: 1. We need a systems view 2. The composition of the system must be based on how different aspects of the system work together. 3. People need to decide on their way of working. That is, they need their autonomy within the context of the whole. This session talks about how to use Christopher Alexander’s patterns concept and pattern languages to provide structure with flexibility.
