Heroic The Deadmines - Fire Mage - WoW Cataclysm Classic

This video is a non-narrated recording of the Heroic Difficulty The Deadmines Dungeon done as a Fire Mage in Phase 1 of the World of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm Expansion. I just wanted to throw this video up in case people wanted to see some of the Heroic Boss Mechanics, or how a Fire Mage playstyle is, etc. This dungeon is pretty cool in my opinion. Unfortunately we messed up pretty bad near the beginning by not clicking the chains to free the Mining Monkeys and that led to a couple of wipes, but the run was pretty smooth after that. I play far from perfectly here. I make a lot of mistakes with my rotation and in particular I mistimed some Combustions horribly, leading to much lower overall damage. A lot of the questionable rotation decisions were due to "proc-fishing". Fire Mage can be insanely good or quite sub-par based on the RNG of your Crits and Impact procs, so I often deviate from the standard rotation quite a bit in the hopes of hitting the right procs at the right time, to varying degrees of success. I didn't do a particularly good job of it here, I don't think, and it can be very annoying when it doesn't work out the way that you want it to, but I think that that also makes the Spec much more engaging and fun.
