Beto returns to the village with one of his objectives accomplished, while Romualdo continues the journey alongside our Wixárika friends, accompanying them in their search for deer destined for a traditional ceremony in their community. In this episode, we hike through a large part of the Sierra de Zacatecas, where we witness firsthand the effort, patience, and profound respect with which the Wixárika carry out this activity, which is part of their ancestral customs and traditions. Although no more deer were caught that day, the experience allowed us to better understand the cultural and spiritual value of this practice.
