At the Agulhas Negras Military Academy, cadets choose their area of ​​specialization throughout the course. This choice defines how they will perform as officers in the Brazilian Army. Infantry: Known as the "Queen of Arms," ​​this troop fights directly on foot and can operate in various environments (jungle, mountain, caatinga, urban). It is the basis of land operations. Cavalry: Traditionally linked to reconnaissance and the use of armored vehicles. It operates with armored vehicles, carrying out reconnaissance and security missions. Artillery: Responsible for fire support. Uses howitzers, rockets, and missiles to neutralize the enemy at a distance. Intendancy: Administrative and logistical management, taking care of supplies, finances, and support for troops. 🇧🇷 A cadet's routine at AMAN: what daily life is like at the Agulhas Negras Military Academy: The routine of an AMAN cadet begins even earlier and is marked by a high level of physical, mental, and disciplinary demands. Reveille takes place at 5:50 am, preceded by personal hygiene and tidying up the barracks. Immediately afterward, breakfast and the morning formation take place, where the orders of the day are given. 📚 In the academic part, cadets have classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, Portuguese, history, geography, calculus, in addition to specific military subjects, which are part of the training of the future officer of the Brazilian Army. The pace of studies is intense and requires a lot of dedication. 💪 In addition to classes, the routine at AMAN includes daily physical training, military instruction, marches, shooting, drill, field instructions, and activities focused on developing leadership, responsibility, and esprit de corps.
