Wigtown Booktown (2018)
Documentary produced for the MSc Science Media Production, Imperial College London (2018). Film by Pedro Ferreira, PhD and Elena Popa, PhD. In "Wigtown Booktown", Pedro Ferreira and Elena Popa document the transformation of Wigtown into Scotland’s National Book Town, and interrogate the impact the past twenty years of Book Town status have had on local bookselling businesses, while exploring the unique case of The Open Book — a bookshop-cum-Airbnb — by chronicling the experience of one of its temporary resident.
