Wigtown - The town saved by books. Wigtown, a small town in Galloway, South West Scotland, is the country's National Book Town. A town dedicated to bookshops and a must-see for any book lover. Every year the annual Wigtown Book Festival plays host to authors from around the world, but it wasn't always the case. This is a story of a town in disrepair, brought back to former glory by a little vision and a lot of hard work. Follow my adventures as I travel through the landscapes and history of Scotland.
