This bird has no fear! Rare Bridled Tern in Massachusetts
A very rare Bridled Tern showed up in Scituate, MA - just south of Boston - and gave fantastic looks to all the birders who showed up to see it. This bird has absolutely zero fear of people and so you could just stand right next to it. This was yet another lifer for me in my home state of MA - that is normally a rare occurrence but I now have four in the last 6 weeks. My current gear: Canon R7 mirrorless camera (great with a few caveats) Canon RF 100-500 mm lens (fantastic) DJI Mic 2 lapel microphone (not recommended) Channel life list (birds shown well on the channel): World: 486 ABA area: 367 Massachusetts: 276
