From her youth, she consecrated her life to the Lord, receiving the veil of virgins from the hands of Pope Liberius in Rome. She led a life marked by simplicity, constant prayer, fasting, and the practice of Christian virtues. Her witness profoundly influenced Saint Ambrose, who mentioned her with affection and admiration, recognizing in her an example of fidelity and holiness.
