The Word Before the mountains touched the sky, Before the oceans knew their shores, You were there, the Great I Am, Faithful forevermore. Every star obeyed Your voice, Every heartbeat bears Your name. All creation points to You, Jesus Christ, forever King. Then Your light broke through the darkness, Hope the world had never known. There is power in Your presence. There is life within Your name. Jesus Christ, our risen Savior, Yesterday and still the same. In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was God.
