The 1911 Advantage | Why This Pistol Still Dominates

Today I will try to help you consider the GREAT BENEFITS of "concealed carry" Many states allow OPEN CARRY now, which is a great RIGHT and a PRIVLEDGE under our 2nd amendment to the American constitution. Now let's consider the reality that no matter HOW good of an American citizen you ARE, there are MANY "unreasonable " people just LOOKING to "stir the pot" and generate drama. Some people are even jealous that you are ARMED and READY, while they live in fantasy land. I reference the methods used in the movie "COLLADERAL", in which Tom Cruise takes on two crazy armed robbers and he quickly stops them in their tracks. Now, none of us are in Hollywood and very few have professional gun trainers in our lives. However, we CAN practice the basics NEEDED for self defense and make SURE that we don't offer a GIFT to the bad guy by OVER EXTENDING our arms which even seems natural. I think we practice target shooting and focus on small groups, perfect sight alignment and calm slow perfect trigger breaks so much that we a shocked when we fail when the stop watch is used! In a real emergency the 1911 really shines because it has the perfect grip angle for RAPID POINT SHOOTING. Please know your local laws and follow them.
