Riot Mako 12 pedal, paddle and power at Darrens Kayaks.

Ever since I got in my Riot Kayaks Mako 12 pedal drive and discovered what a great coastal hull it is and how easy it was to paddle as well as pedal, I have been itching to fit my Bixpy motor to it - my aim was to have a light weight hull that I could paddle, pedal or power up depending on my needs and that could take on rough conditions - so it was off to the workshop and it took less than an hour to adapt the Mako hull to take the Jet using the Bixpy rudder adapter and I didn't have to drill a single hole :-) All I needed now was a suitable weather window to test it - Thursday evening the tide was high and the forcast was for strong winds....perfect !!
