In this video I talk about the best way to install valve boxes over valves. There is two reasons I like to use two valve boxes. 1. The first box I can put all the way down around the valve to keep all the dirt out and from around the valve. It will make it easier to come back and work on the valve if needed. 2. The second box can be used for flexibility to go up or down so the top is level with the grade of the sod. This works better than just raising the one box up level with the grade and allowing dirt to cover the valve.
