Today’s lesson explores Paul’s bold declaration that “the message of the cross…is the power of God.” For Paul, the Cross is at the center of everything: the place of reconciliation between God and humanity, the clearest revelation of Christ’s humility, and the means by which our debt was fully paid. It is also Paul’s answer to the painful divisions that plagued the church in Corinth.
