Midway Carousel and Wurlitzer 153 band organ at Cedar Point
This carousel was built in 1912 and was manufactured by David Muller and is one of the Few David Muller carousels left in existence it was originally located at Revere Beach Mass and was later installed at Cedar Point in 1946. In October of 1982 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It has 60 Jumping and stationary horses and 4 chariots. Music is provided by a Wurlitzer model 153 military band organ. The songs are “The Witch Doctor”, Purple People Eater”, and “The Monster Mash”.
