From Jungle to Backroads | TransAlp meets Lillooet Pt. 1

NOTE: The gate at 14:32 was NOT locked. Mark and I both went through on the right. I went back and looked at the gate latch and there was a “S” hook on a green lanyard in place to keep the gate closed. I simply lifted the “S” hook and the gate swung open. Mark and I had been in touch for several months as he planning his his 2025 Arctic Assault with Rob. In the 11th hour, Rob could not make it so Mark had the daunting task of talking the assault on his own. Because he had expressed interest in riding some of the trails in Lillooet I thought, why not run out to Lillooet to meet him for some introductory Canadian riding. Something slightly more technical difficult than The Dempster to get his feet wet. We crammed two routes into one day and had a fantastic time at 28 C. This is the morning ride. The video is a bit long but I wanted something for him and friends and family to enjoy.
