Walking the Ambassador Donkeys to the 95th Annual Donkey Derby Days Parade

The Burro Base Camp Ambassadors participated in the 95th Annual Donkey Derby Days Parade in Cripple Creek, Colorado. It is always a huge learning experience along the way as they experience many things we do not see on the farm. At Burro Base Camp, we find trusted homes for previously wild and domestic burros while acting as a steward for burros through training and education of the burros and the burro community. Burro Base Camp is located in Kiowa, CO USA. We are a designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our programming is funded via private donors, grants, and adoption fees. We have placed over 200 burros since August 2021.
