Strickmuster No. 17 - Halbes Webmuster stricken

In this video, I'll show you a pretty half-weave pattern that's very easy to knit. I think it's a nice change if you want something a bit more interesting than garter stitch or stockinette stitch. You can use this pattern for whatever you like. Sweaters, tops, cardigans, scarves—the sky's the limit. You're welcome to copy and print this chart if you want to keep it next to you while knitting or want to refer back to it later. CAST-ON | STITCH COUNT For the pattern, you need a stitch count that's divisible by 2. Whether you want to knit edge stitches or not is up to you. The knitting pattern also works without edge stitches. A slip edge, for example, is suitable as an edge stitch (which I'm working in this video). However, you can also work any other type of edge stitch. KNITTING CHART The pattern consists of 4 rows (2 pattern rows and 2 purl rows) 1st row (RS): sl 1, * k1, purl 1 * sl 1 2nd row (RS): sl 1, * purl all *, sl 1 3rd row (RS): sl 1, * k1, purl 1 * sl 1 4th row (RS): sl 1, * purl all *, sl 1 Repeat rows 1-4 continuously. IN ROUNDS: If you want to knit the pattern in the round, cast on a number of stitches divisible by 2. In round 1, alternate knit 1, purl 1, in round 3, alternate purl 1, purl 1, and knit all stitches in rounds 2 and 4. Key: RS = Front row RS = Back row ES = Edge stitch k = Knit stitch p = Purl stitch p = Sew = Yarn in front of the needle, as if purling, slip stitch, and loop the yarn over the stitch.
